I had not come up with an award for journalism that has been positive for investigative journalism. Today that changes. This is the first I have awarded for any journalist, though, besides James O'Keefe and Hanna Giles, I can certainly see how Michelle Malkin also merits this award. The premise of my award is hard hitting journalism that makes a difference on one hand and fullfils the promise of journalism in a free press being the watchdog of government.

Republican Leader of the House, John Boehner House Republican Leader and a staunch opponent of pork-barrel politics, John is fighting to eliminate wasteful spending, create jobs, and balance the federal budget without raising taxes. He has challenged Republicans in the 111th Congress to be not just the party of “opposition,” but the party of better solutions to the challenges facing the American people.
